The Indiana Center for the Life Sciences is a unique building partnership between Monroe County government and Ivy Tech Community College Bloomington. The Center is the direct result of the commitment of a $5 million construction project, funded through a 20-year bond by the Monroe County Redevelopment Commission, and an equal commitment of land and 20-year operational responsibility by Ivy Tech -Bloomington.
The Center offers a variety and combination of entry-level job preparation as well as college credit courses designed for medical products manufacturing, biotechnology and life sciences product development. The Center is located on the Ivy Tech campus near the Cook Group, Baxter Pharmaceuticals and BioConvergence.
